What did I like
from my method?
What I like
from cognitive approach is that students learn of their mistakes, it is called “the
role of mistakes”, and in that way if the students want to learn another
language they are going to remind the difficulties they had or what kind of
mistakes they made.
What did not I like from Cognitive Approach?
What I did not
like from my method is that students have to memorize to understand, and sometimes
there are students who find difficult to memorize; thus, they did not develop
that area, and if for students is difficult to memorize, learning is going to
be difficult, too.
What did I
understand from Lexical Approach Method?
What I
understood is that lexical approach is a method in where students have to learn
phrases instead of study grammatical structures; however, it is easier for
learners because they learn the structure of the sentences, and at the same time
they learn new vocabulary.
To conclude,
both methods are good to implement in the classroom and like teachers we have
to look for the best method or the method we think is the best for students to
learn.
hello, ileana!
ResponderEliminarI think your method is really interesting because all of us make mistakes and we don't like to accept it, students can learn with their own mistakes in a good way without any problem.
if students remember the errors they made in the past, they won't do it again and they are going to fix themselves. Also the rol of the teacher is important in the method. the teacher must have to help the student to fix the mistakes they make, and talk with the learner in a good mood.
Hi Ileana.
ResponderEliminarI think that your method is perfect for advanced students. For begginers it's difficult to memorize a lot of gramatical things and maybe if you don't think about it, your students will feel bored and they won't be interested in learning the target language anymore.
With the lexical approach, I think that it's really nice for all the levels! Students may learn new vocabulary and some other things of the target language, it's even funny for them, so they can apply them through conversations and they improve some speaking skills.
Hi Ileana!
ResponderEliminarI think cognitive approach it is a good method, but as Denis said, for beginners is difficult, because in my point of view, teachers may start with a funny class instead of using to much information to memorize; however, it is important to know many things by hard, but there is an specific time to do that.
Lexical approach is a good method in order to learn new vocabulary or phrases that native speakers use to meaning something out of the general translation; in that way, we will be able to communicate with native speakers using that idioms.
Hello Ileana! Yeah cognitive approach is good but, the part of this method that students have to memorize a lo things and, always they forget that things that they have studied so, its too bad that.!
ResponderEliminarIs good for devolping the brain, In the other hand, talking about lexical approach is a good method because they focus on vocabulary and the students learn a lot insted of focusing on grammar that someitmes might be a headache for students!
